Table-View
In the Table-View, the table can be edited. Below are the available editing features:
Add Rows and Columns
The popup-button with the "+" symbol can be used to call various functions for adding rows and columns to the table. The "Add Rows and Columns"-option provides a feature to insert multiple rows and columns at once.
Remove Rows and Columns
To remove a row or column from the table, the corresponding row or column must be selected beforehand. In the case of rows, a click on the row to be removed is sufficient. For columns, click on the column-header. In both cases, the selection is highlighted in blue. The selection can now be removed by pressing the "-"-button.
Duplicate Rows and Columns
To duplicate a row or column from the table, the corresponding row or column must be selected beforehand. In the case of rows, a click on the row to be duplicated is sufficient. For columns, click on the column-header. In both cases, the selection is highlighted in blue. The selection can now be duplicated by using the menu-items "Duplicate Selection After" oder "Duplicate Selection Before" from the "+"-popup-button.
Moving Lines and Columns
Rows and columns can be moved freely via drag'n drop within the table. To move a row or column within the table, the corresponding row or column must be selected beforehand. In the case of rows, a click on the row to be moved is sufficient. For columns, click on the column-header. In both cases, the selection is highlighted in blue. Then the selection can be moved to the desired position by dragging.
Navigate in the table
The individual rows of the table can be selected using the arrow keys up and down. In selected lines the tabulator-key can be used to switch between the individual cells. At the end of a line, pressing the tab-key again causes the first cell in the next line to be selected, if another line exists.
Batch fill
The automatic batch fill can automatically fill rows and columns with values.
To use the batch fill function, the corresponding row or column must be selected beforehand. In the case of rows, a click on the row to be filled is sufficient. For columns, click on the column-header. In both cases, the selection is highlighted in blue.
Click on the batch button to open the batch fill function. In addition to specifying optional prefix and suffix, you can choose which numbering-style to use for the fill-feature. Also optional is the specification of a start number. If none is specified, 1 is used as start number.
Multi-lines and columns editing
All actions listed on this page can be applied to multiple columns or rows at the same time. To select multiple rows or columns, the CMD key must be held down while the respective columns or rows are clicked on.
